Chance to participate in the photo days “autumn mosaic” in Rezekne municipality
The municipality of Rēzekne, in collaboration with Latgale photographer society from 6 to 8 October, organizes the second photo days, inviting professional photographers and photo enthusiasts from around Latvia. The first photo days in Rēzekne municipality were held in spring 2015 for the honorable photo masters Jānis Gleizdam on his home side – Ilzeskalna and Nautrēnu parish, while this time the photographer will be invited to capture autumn ovens and diversity in the north side of Rezekne municipality – Ozolaines, Mākoņkalna, Lūznavas, Feimaņu and Maltas parish.
The photo days will begin on the afternoon of October 6, when, after settling in the main school OF Ozolaines parish, the opening of the event, the distribution of photographed parishes and introduction to guides – local residents who will show the most interesting places, buildings, Latgalian traditions, natural wealth and people in the following days will take place in the following days. On Saturday, on Saturday, the photographer will have the opportunity to demonstrate their talent, skills and unusual vision, perpetuating the autumn mosaic in the parish of the Rezekne municipality.
On Friday and Saturday evening, there are various lectures, presentations, and discussions on the artistic art. Photographers who would like to show presentations or read lectures for their brothers on various photo-related topics are invited to apply until September 10 at Igor Pliča (tel.: 29121689, e-mail: lauraplus@inbox.lv).
Participate in the photo days by 10 September by sending an application (given name, surname, address, photo study (if any) and contact information) to e-mail lauraplus@inbox.lv or by telephone 29121689 (Igors Pličs). A local government of Rezekne will provide accommodation and food for the participants of the photo days.
In gratitude for the reception, the photographer must be prepared for the Rēzekne municipality to give photographs of the photos taken during the photo days. The local government will be entitled to use these photographs in non-commercial publications, websites and advertisements, indicating the author. Similarly, in the event of public holidays, the “fruits” of the working day work will be seen in the exhibitions at each of the parish cultural houses involved, as well as in the building of the municipality of Rezekne in Rezekne.
