We call for an educational opportunity exhibition “education and careers 2018” in the municipality of Rezekne on 6 April.

On Friday, April 6, a regional vocational and higher education institution exhibition “education and career 2018” will be held in Rezekne, to which students of classes 8-12 are expected, as well as other stakeholders.
It is an opportunity to learn about learning opportunities, the choice of the most appropriate educational and labour market, meet entrepreneurs. The exhibition will be held at the premises of the municipality of Rezekne (Rezekne, Liberation Alliance 95A) from at 10.00 to 15.00
In the exhibition, young people will be expected to attend vocational and higher education institutions from across Latvia: the Rēzekne Technology Academy, the University of Daugavpils, the Baltic International Academy, the Rezekne Technical School, the Malnava College, the University of Rēzekne's High School of Art and Design, the Barkava Professional Secondary School, the State Agency for Employment, as well as representatives of the National Armed Forces Recruitment Centre etc.
In educational institutions, young people will be able to meet both teachers and students, learn what learning and study programmes are offered by each of the institutions, which are the conditions for admission and the speciality to be obtained. The exhibition will receive advice, information materials and participate in various activities.
Visitors of the exhibition are waiting for different types of competitions each hour.
The exhibition of these educational opportunities since 2010 in Rezekne is organised by entrepreneurs' association entrepreneurs constantly support various types of initiatives in collaboration with youth organisations and educational institutions, participate in a career week, provision of traineeships for students.
Education and career exhibition is the most important exhibition of this kind in Latgale region, which is traditionally held every spring. It is a great opportunity for young people to provide useful information about future study opportunities in Latgale, if it has not been possible to attend the exhibition “School” in Ķīpsala or open door day events in educational institutions. The exhibitions have been visited annually by several hundred young people not only from Rezekne but also by other Latgale municipality.
In addition, we are informed that the open doorday at the Rēzekne Technology Academy will be held on the same day, which will enable young people to attend both the exhibition and the Academy at the same time.
