We call for an educational opportunity exhibition “education and careers 2019” in Rezekne on 29 March!

The tradition of regional professional and higher education institutions' exhibition “education and careers” has become a tradition in Rezekne, which invites and offers students of classes 8-12 and other stakeholders, together with school representatives, to meet and learn more about vocational and higher education opportunities, meet entrepreneurs, as well as choose their possible future profession and study place together.
The exhibition will be held at the premises of the municipality of Rezekne (Rezekne, Liberation Alliance 95A) from at 10.00 to 15.00
In the exhibition, young people will be expected to attend vocational and higher education institutions from across Latvia: the Rēzekne Technology Academy, the Rezekne Technical School, the Malnava College, the Rēzekne Art and Design Secondary School, the Riga Technical College, the Ogre Forest Technical School, the Jçkabpils agrobusiness college Barkava Unit, the Riga Building College, the Ivanova Rēzekne Music Secondary School, the State Agency of Employment, THE University of Latvia'S University OF Latvia AND the State Agency for Social Inclusion, the Secondary School of Latvia, THE Jurmala Professional Secondary School and the State Agency for Social Inclusion, the Secondary School of Rezekne, THE SEB Bank, as well as representatives of the National Armed Forces Recruitment Centre, the School Training Companies, etc.
In educational institutions, young people will be able to meet both teachers and students, learn what learning and study programmes are offered by each of the institutions, which are the conditions for admission and the speciality to be obtained. The exhibition will receive advice, information materials and participate in various activities.
Visitors are waiting for exhibition participants' presentations, various types of competitions and presentation of the hip Hopa association “Latgale Reps”.
The exhibition of these educational opportunities has been organised by a businessman in Rezekne since 2010. Entrepreneurs constantly support various types of initiatives in collaboration with youth organisations and educational institutions, taking part in a career week, providing traineeships to students.
Education and career exhibition is the most important exhibition of this kind in Latgale region, which is traditionally held every spring. It is a great opportunity for young people to obtain useful information about future study opportunities in Latgale and Latvia if there has been no opportunity to attend the exhibition “School” in Ķīpsala or open door day events in educational institutions. The exhibitions have been visited annually by several hundred young people not only from Rezekne but also by other Latgale municipality.
The exhibitions are supported by newspapers “Panorama Rezekne” and “Rezekne Ambassador”, radio EF – EI and the “Rezekne news” portal.
