“Shuttle Boys” in Sherjans
The mid-point between Christmas and Easter is a nice holiday like Methday or Shadow, which is celebrated seven weeks before Easter and is considered to be the beginning of spring waiting. The weather that year, on March 5, was fooled, and the wind and snowy wind blew, but it did not interfere with the courageous big and small fountain to enjoy the pleasure of Methday.
We talked to Shadow-related beliefs, chose one of the Matthenites who had been dressed in a fur-cut fur, placed a gray hat in the head, and gave a branch broom to wipe away the dirt that had accumulated through the winter, both in nature and in our minds. We burned the broom in the fire. The kids get mask because Methday is the last day they can still go. At the end of the event, we had traditionally burned a straw doll and slept with delicious pancakes. It was much and very delicious. The pancakes in the girls symbolize the arrival and fertility of the sun throughout the year, so we eaten to keep all and those who had come to the event, and those who were afraid of the rain, the year would be beneficial, productive, fruitful and prosperous.
