Spent summer Bērzgales in children and young people. Three projects of the youth initiative projects supported by the municipality of Rezekne were implemented during the summer season.
The aim of the “play and health” project is to promote the availability of active recreational opportunities and physical activity FOR YOUNG people OF Bērzgales, to create favourable conditions for the physical development of young people and healthy lifestyles.
As part of the project, at the end of the summer, a sports and recreational day was organised at Berzgale, where the parish youth teams arrived. The main activity for teams was a beach volleyball tournament. For individual sport and rest, the wanters had the opportunity to participate in individual attractive sports: “with an expanse on the ball”, “boots in the barrel”, the shooting of the shots. Team forces scaled to find the quickest water carrier, the strongest force moist, and the most skilled Bērzgales Safari hunter. In conclusion, the participants were respected with soup.
Sports Day co-operation partner was a long-standing Bērzgales sports festival supporter Dainis candle.
Various groups and activities were available for children and young people throughout the summer as part of the youth informal training project “Eu power”.
At the time of 15 types of creative workshops and activities, participants took a variety of new traditional artistic skills and works, theatre games and self-protection basics, discovered their talents, meeting with different professionals in their fields.
The activities were led by the Head of the People's applied art studio “Dzinpariņš”, artist, masterwork speciality and social pedagogy Anita Cairiši, eco builder, former working-class teacher with great experience with the tree Kaspars Rims, former head of the National Border Guard Training Service Methodology and Planning Unit Aivars Chudars; amateurs Peter and May Gailumi, Director Ināra Gretina, designer Ilze Chudare.
Participation in the project '“creative workshops in Berzgale' 'I can myself!'” contributed to the useful leisure of young people, the growth of personality, the opportunity to further education.
A total of 76 hours of creative work and activity were spent in this project during the summer season.
The aim of the Youth Inventory Project was to strengthen the development of young people as a full member of society by promoting activities and initiatives to learn new skills.
The project was purchased Sizzix stamping (embossing) and cutting machine with stained paper and two wood-skin burning apparatus. Creative workshops were organized, where stakeholders met and learned work with both installations.
The project manager and co-ordinator were Bērzgales parish youth specialist Ilze Chudare.
