Thanks to the construction of the postal road, cooperation between Russia and Western Europe in the economic, political and cultural sectors developed. Secondly, trade and craftsmanship traditions, as in favourable traffic conditions, THE village OF Maltas (formerly Borovaya) expanded into a market place that was in contact with Rezekne. Every week on Thursdays there was a market. In the book“ parish descriptions ”issued by the National Statistical Office in 1935, there is evidence of the Borovaya and Antonopole sādžām with more than 60 trading venues. In addition, the dairy farm Maltā was strongly developed at all times, so the market theme is complemented by the tools, equipment and accessories of milk processing and preparation. 'A number of unique exhibits can be seen in the museum, such as the Ulmaņtime butter export box, in the beginning of the last century, the cheese press, K. The piano piano company, Rozentova Manor's milk production labels and other history of history.

The 2014 exhibition of THE history of Maltas, which is still ongoing. The opinion of the Accreditation Commission states that the work that has been initiated gives the assurance that soon Maltese and Maltas visitors will be able to learn about the history of Maltas in a binding, informative, historical, rich exhibition.

“The local residents are very responsive and welcome to the museum with historical evidence,” Sylvia Pigožne said, “for example, Jānis Korolimoka's gifted sports ragavas will become the basis for a new outdoor exhibition, Anatoly Pavelukovich has given several of his family's relatives, Joseph podnieks gave the ancient house a circus, and thanks to the gifted glorious mirror of Zinaid Zurgy, and the woman's bag of Anne Kupcova's gifted last century, the new exhibition is set in a ladies' corner.” This year, the museum stock keeper Inta Danovskis has gone on six expeditions, with several valuable items. In total, in 2014, the museum Krajums has been supplemented with more than 50 items.

THE Director of the Museum OF History OF Maltas, Sylvia Pigožne, works for a second year, however, as the Commission acknowledged, it was during her time that the museum had experienced resurrection. “The first year of work usually shows whether the manager is a museum man,” says the Commission's representative, Anastasia Creek. “It can be noticed that Sylvia Peager is working with great passion and enthusiasm, she has felt the special rosin that features Maltese.”

In order for the museum to develop and be binding on visitors, THE parish administration OF Maltas is also interested. “The museum has been working since 1991 and we feel that people need it,” said Vitalijs ants, head of the parish administration. “In particular, in the history of history and culture, the museum gives students – Maltas children have a unique opportunity to learn history not only from books but also in real life viewing hundreds of years.”

Sylvia Pigože says that the museum has much to do. “The biggest ideas relate to 2016, when several anniversaries are planned: 80 years of anniversary since Rozentova parish has been renamed Maltas parish as well as 180 th anniversary since the construction of the horse mail. We also plan to create an outdoor exhibition with horse-drawn trips and their accessories so that our guests can make the museum visit even more exciting and more educational.”
