Results of the survey of the population of Rezekne municipality
In order to promote the participation of the population in public life and to promote cooperation with the local government, as well as to ascertain the views of the people on life in the municipality, the municipality of Rezekne has organised a survey of the population in the period from 19.12.2016 to 01.02.2017. Compared to previous years, the number of respondents is almost doubled this year - 455 respondents, of whom 319 women and 136 men participated in the survey. This year, the largest activity in the survey has been reported by RESIDENTS of Griškānu, Nautrēnu, Gaigalavas, Silmalas and Vērēmu parish.
In the framework of the survey, the population was required to provide an assessment of the various services available in the Rēzekne municipality, as well as the citizens were invited to refer to cases which would significantly improve their lives in any of the areas or areas of the municipality. It should be noted that overall, the satisfaction of the population with the services provided by the municipality and the life in Rezekne municipality is high - 73% of respondents have assessed it with “satisfaction” or “rather satisfaction”.

The results of the survey and the proposals made will be used as a basis for further improvement of communication and cooperation with the people of the municipality, the evaluation of the activities of the municipality, as well as the decision-making and preparation of the reports related to the development of the municipality.
