Approved project “development and promotion of THE construction company SIA“ S & M Sauber ”
An approval of the Rural Support Service has been received for the project “Development and promotion of THE construction company SIA“ S & M Sauber ”OF building facades” (No. 18-01-AL15-a019 .2102-000006), which was submitted to the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) in the sub-measure of Latvia's rural development programme 2014-2020 “Implementation of activities in accordance with the community-led local development strategy”.
The purpose of the project is the development and promotion of THE construction company SIA “S & M Sauber”, the creation of quality building facades for long-term service and preservation of aesthetic appearance.
In the framework of the project, a) purchase of a set of innovative equipment (high-pressure washer, generator, compressor, high pressure hose extension, sand jet equipment, trailer, staircase No. 1, staircase No. 2, towed stairways, hose for pipe cleaning, pipe-cleaning rotary nozzle, rotating dash, electric prolongation 3 phase, air hose, water hose, foam cap, vapour nozzle, water hose, foam cap, vapour nozzle, vapour nozzle, high pressure washer, 3 position dash, water filter, sand jet nozzle, window cleaner and extension, key assembly and accessory box), (b) public relations activities (articles in the newspaper, information on the internetworking, etc.).
Project result: The building culture will be encouraged by economic renovation of buildings through regular cleaning of facades through innovative equipment. A floating company in Rezekne municipality will be established, with which the development of entrepreneurship in the municipality will be carried out and new jobs are offered.
Project activities must be closed by 31.12.2018
The total cost of the project is EUR 9918.80, the project eligible costs OF EUR 8214.54, the financing of the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development is EUR 5750.16.
SIA “S & M Sauber” is a 2018 company in which its board members combined their expertise to launch a new field of activity in Rezekne District - building the facades of buildings. The facades of buildings are mostly not flat but make up a decoration, so that there is a longer moisture that contributes to the contamination of the facade with dust, fungi, algae, moss, etc. Special cleaning is required to maintain new and renovated buildings. One of the members of the company's board of directors, working in a municipal authority, continuously studied development opportunities, new markets and equipment. In order to develop the company at a high level, then increase the quality of turnover and services, a very prospective option was found – the purchase and implementation of a specialised package of building facades in the northern Latgale region. In view of the fact that the company is new and the own funds are lacking for the purchase of these types of assets, it was decided to participate in the announced LEADER project.

The project application has been prepared and received support for the 5 th round of the project applications launched by the local development strategy of the local action group “Rēzekne District Communities Partnership” for 2015-2020.
