With the heart in Rēzekne District!

This week, the “Heart Rēzekne District” competition was tested by seven teams from Dricānu, Kaunatas, Maltas, Nautrēnu, Tiskad and Eastern Latvian Technology Secondary Schools.
The pupils had to answer questions about the history, culture, geography of Rezekne municipality. In the competition, the young people had to know that the sail ship “Sea Esta” was located in Razna Lake, that the film “I'm here” was filmed IN Kaunatas parish, that the main character of the film “Piļsate pi River”, Dāvis Suharevskis, is from Gaigalavas parish, that Karlis Skalbe has written a story about Razna Lake, that Ubagov's devil stone (the people referred to as chorta bumble) is located in parish Mākoņkalna. The pupils had to find out where the sculpture was located in Rēzekne's municipality with a fox and a drink where smoked fish could be tasted, where they could enjoy winter joys, or where they could see the top guitars. The questions of their parish had also been prepared by the pupils themselves, and the answer to these questions, as the participants acknowledged, was not easy, because, for example, it was necessary to know that THE Dricānu parish association comprised eight parishes, that IN THE parish OF Mākoņkalna there was a memorial plate for Carlim Ulman, that the Ubagov lake is a nickname in the people. In a strong fight with 30.5 points, the third place won Nautrēnu secondary school team (Meggie Belinska, Evelina Belinska, Victoria Lukashene, Victor Drozdov, Anna Kristiana login). The second best of 35.5 points IN Dricānu secondary school team (Ralph Bocta, Janis Vespers, Guvido igram, Ilyjs Jershav, Ilya Georges), while the victory laurus with 39 points flowed FROM THE Kaunatas secondary school team (Erika's profits, Lena Šlapakov, Lija Saukane, Inguss Sutin, Raivis Gudramovics).
