Today, Kaunatā, there are two festivals - the opening of the local Olympic Games and Kaunatas secondary school sports stadium, ”said Ligita Jokste, head of the Rēzekne municipality. The event contained over 150 participants from 18 county parish.
A modern, renowned stadium will not only be a school benefit, but also a place to organise twinning sports games, a variety of ambitious events, a place where pupils and their parents can practice, maintain their sporting form. In summer, Kaunatas guests and tourists will be offered an opportunity to take an active rest - such a goal as the planning of the stadium reconstruction. These sports games have shown that the members of Rezekne's council, taking a decision on the reconstruction of the stadium, and THE Kaunatas parish administration, who assumed responsibility for the realization of this project, have acted in a forward-looking manner.
The President OF the Rēzekne District Council OF Monvīds Švarcs, speaking to the present, emphasized that the shampowners themselves have shown that the stadium is necessary in the generations of generations. The President wished all the sportsmen that the positive emotional charge that each of them would be able to win would give strength by doing day-to-day jobs.
Before turning the solemn tape TO Kaunatas, Harald Brock gave the stadium to the stadium, so that every athlete - big and small - would develop physically here, not forgetting that the man should be beautiful: both true and long.
A solemn stroke, at the front of which, carrying the Olympic circles, was paced by small athletes. There was a motto of each team.
As an Olympiad, THE leader of THE Kaunatas parish association Janis Alexanis called for the oath. The five Olympic circles created by members of the “local Olympic Games” were fantastic from the bird's flight. The leader of the Action Group, Edgars Tivans, called for a start in 7 sports.
In conclusion, when they receive diplomas and medals, the teams cheered themselves and their rivals because they have to be able not only to win, but also to lose their dignity.
By awarding the most successful, Sergei Bashmakov, head of THE Kaunatas parish administration, confirmed that the goal of sports games has been achieved: a beautiful, active work, a happy day of smiling. Next year, all sporting people were invited by the recipient of “local Olympic Games” big bucket, Bērzgales parish administration manager Arvīds Dunsky.
