Supported project “Restoration of the pond and improvement of territory IN Pušas village”
The Regional Agricultural Administration of the Rural Support Service has approved the project application “Restoration of the pond and the improvement of the territory IN Pušas village” (No. 19-01-AL15-a019 .2201-000007), which was submitted to THE EAFRD Latvian Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 “implementation of the activity in accordance with the community-led local development strategy”. The project competition was announced by the association “Rēzekne District Communities Partnership”.
The project aims at arranging the public outdoor and green area IN Pušas village, creating an attractive and landscape object for local people to spend their free time. The current pond makes an unpleasant impression at the centre of the village because it is shallow, the process of seasoning has occurred over time, increased by canes and other aquatic plants. Clearing this pond will create an attractive environment and make landscape conservation and building activities, a visually attractive place of recreational and entertainment with a memorable and aesthetic landscape. It will also be possible to fisher, rest, sport in this area.
Within the framework of the project it is planned: to perform a pond cleaner and its surroundings, site improvement works, purchase and install a ponton kindle, purchase and install recreational benches and garbage urns.
The eligible costs of the project are EUR 9496,48 of which public funding is EUR 8546,84. Co-financing OF EUR 949,64 will be provided by the municipality.
