The Renewed Red Church takes visitors
On September 9, 2018, the Roman Catholic Church of the Catholic Catholic Church of the Red Virgin Maria was a festival: the holy mission after long-term renovation works in the church was gathered by the members of the parish and the faithful of the neighborhood and the surrounding area.

The church was built in 1860. It is a very simple square-shaped stone building with a small square tower above the roof at the entrance. The Church altar is the second most prominent Sunday of the miracle, which has been preserved since 17.gs and has a healing power. The festival, like the church, is a national cultural monument.
The internal premises were renewed for THE 2014-2020 eu EAFRD sub-measure 19.2. “Implementation of the action under the community-led local development strategy” activities 19.2.2. “Place potential development initiatives”.
The total amount of the project is EUR 30 468,50 (with VAT). Support from the municipality of Rezekne for co-financing of co-financing for the preservation of cultural monuments, as well as significant donations from members of the parish was received to cover the co-financing share.
Church services at church are held on Sundays at noon 12.00 October on Saturdays at 18.00 Hotels on families and unborn children and night Adorations occur. For tourists and individual visitors outside the church service, it is preferable to contact the priest in telephone (Jonan, 28345990) before attending the church.
