Lūznavas Manor is one of the most beautiful end of the 19 th century, the beginning of the 20 th century in Latgale, with an expanded building structure, a number of capital buildings, a museum of yogendy and a unique (region) iekoptu park around 10 ha. It was built between 1905 and 1911, under the direction of engineer S. V. Kerbedza. The cultural monument of national significance was in a sad state for a long time. Now, thanks to the project “Lūznavas maniža building reconstruction (including local restoration works)” implemented by the municipality of Rezekne, THE Lūznavas manor building has recovered its cultural historical heritage and returned to ancient style as Latgale cultural pearl.
Lūznavas manor reconstruction works were carried out under the budget of the municipality of Rezekne, with support from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD). Total cost of the facility: 1 297 395,70 EURO (with VAT), of which the European Union financing amounts to EUR 463 721,83 (excluding VAT).
It is planned that IN the future Lūznavas manor could be developed as an International Centre for Environmental Education and Art, a centre at a local government where several groups will be active, international camps, organised seminars, art festivals etc. The solemn opening of the restored object is planned for this spring, in the days of Latgale podiers.
