Renovated chapel in Lūznavas manor

Lūznavas manor building, one of the most beautiful end of the 19 th century, the beginning of the 20 th century in Latgale, is a cultural monument of national significance. Thanks to the project “Lūznavas maniža building reconstruction (including local restoration works)” implemented by the municipality of Rezekne, it has recovered the value of its cultural heritage and returned to ancient style as a cultural pearl.
Lūznavas manor reconstruction works were carried out under the budget of the municipality of Rezekne, with support from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD). Total cost of the facility: 1 297 395,70 EURO (with VAT), of which the European Union financing amounts to EUR 463 721,83 (excluding VAT).
It is planned that IN the future Lūznavas manor could be developed as an International Centre for Environmental Education and Art, a centre at a local government where several groups will be active, international camps, organised seminars, the opening of the art plenary, etc. is planned for this spring, 25 April, in Latgale podnieku days.
