Open Initiative “Latvian School Finish”

In a special event, “Arena Riga”, with 6000 pupils participation from all Latvia on 6 September, the “Latvian School Finish” initiative was opened. 63 participants were represented in our notion event.
Students had the opportunity to participate in creative workshops: to engage in various creative experiments, to explore the scenes of cinema and animation, and to share the impressions they see in Latvia after a hundred years.
The Latvian Prime Minister Maris Kučinskis, Minister of Culture Dace Melbarde, Minister of Education and Science Kārlis Šadurskis, spoke at the opening event.
“" The Latvian school bag 'initiative is created with the conviction that people who know very well their land, its values, know culture, natural wealth, proud of the achievements of science and entrepreneurship, are very well aware of the history of their country, are able to tell the people of other countries in different languages, ”said Minister of Culture Dace Melbarde, emphasising that this, the largest of the Latvian national centennial initiatives, will help to survive, identify and pass on to Latvia.
The culmination of the event was a concert “100 Latvian stories in 100 minutes” with the participation of known artists. By combining traditional and modern art values and encouraging young people to be creative themselves, Raimonds Pauls, the violinist Daniils Bulayev, the Ludvig, Laima Janson, the group “DaGamba”, Matīss Chudars, Edcradi, dancer and horeograph Liene grava, Justs hearth, Ruth Duduma, Daumant Kalniņš, Soprano Marlene keine, DJ Monsta, AND DJ Rudelies, the symphonic orchestra “DD”, the DDD of the DDD of the DDD group, the ddd group, the DDD of the DDD of the DDD of the DDD of the DJ Monsta and DJ Rudelies, the symphonic orchestra “DD”. In an exciting and contemporary form, the history of Latvia, culture, traditions and values in today's view as a message and a call for every student to grow and grow continuously in creating future Latvia.
Latvian national centenary “Latvian School Finish” is a state-funded programme for a five-year period. The aim is to provide an opportunity to identify and experience the natural and cultural values of Latvia, as well as to explore scientific achievements and entrepreneurial success stories in a special inter-disciplinary programme, in the course of the implementation of the educational content of the state.
