In order to increase safety on the road, as from 1 November 2016, the theoretical and practical training programmes of future drivers have introduced a stricter framework for driving training in adverse conditions such as slippery. However, safe driving advice will also be useful for drivers with seniority, as they have often failed to achieve safe driving skills in winter conditions.
In the two years of safe driving training, Anchupan Kartodroma had already taken part in around 100 drivers. MR Keiš also emphasized the successful cooperation that has developed with the municipality of Rēzekne in the Road Safety Directorate, and the secondary school students of Rezekne are also participating in these training, who, with the financial support of the municipality, acquire category B driving skills in the school.
