On 23 April, students in Classes 6 and 7 of the Primary Primary School took part in project No. 8.3.5.0/16/I/001 “career support for general and vocational education institutions” in a career development support event “opens the profession door!”, which took place in the guest house “Green Island”.
The aim of the event was to familiarise students with the business, the day of work, the professions involved in everyday work and skills that are necessary for each profession.
In the guest house “Green Island”, the school group was welcomed by its owner Rita Tērauda. At first, everyone had the opportunity to get acquainted with the company, its working profile, the achievements of the work, which have been assessed with a number of opinions. They could be seen in the indoors of the guest house. The owner introduced students with a range of professions employed in this guest house, as well as told about the possibilities of learning professions on the Rēzekne side. A close collaboration with the Rezekne technician has been established for the guest house “Green Island” and they receive students in practice. A excursion was also given to the pupils, showing both beautiful and well-constructed rooms and surroundings. After all, it can be said that people have invested enormous jobs and love so that everything looks like it looks like today. The warmth of the family, the warmth of the family, and the chuckle are those things that have resulted in such a company.
In the second part of the lesson, all pupils were divided into groups and were active in several masters - designers, waiters, cooks and their assistants. In the masterclassroom, the pupils prepared a snack, the boys cepa sweet wafers, the girls were preparing their salad for stuffed baskets, making smudges, working with blenders, studying the tissue folding, the deck table, washing the dishes, forming designs for the tables.
The pupils unanimously argued that they enjoyed the event very much and were grateful that they could learn the skills they had not yet learned. “Thank you,” everyone says to the housekeepers Rita and Inese, who led the masters and took the house in the homehouse.
