The world's biggest lesson is part of the “project – everyone,” supported BY un agencies such AS UNICEF, UNESCO and others. The aim of the promotion is to combine children and young people to learn about THE objectives of the UN sustainable development and to contribute to achieving them.

The world's biggest lesson took place at the same time around the world from September 28 to October 4. Students of classes 1-4 of the Audriņu primary school also participated in the promotion and discussed the most topical issues in the world.

In the major school hours OF the world Audriņu, students in Classes 1-3 of the Basic School discussed issues related to the hazards of environmental pollution. When communicating information about the sources and consequences of pollution, students shared the experience they know about the collection and sorting OF waste IN THE parish OF Audriņu and how the waste itself is sorted to demonstrate a gentle treatment of natural resources.

THE 1 tp34t primary school students discussed the topical issue of refugees in Latvia and the world, knowing information about the situation, expressing and substantiating their views on it. Having met the public's position on the refugee issue, the pupils felt the role of decision-makers in addressing principled and practical issues: where refugees could be accommodated, how they could be employed, how to help their children feel the Latvian schools, how to help learn a profession.

As a result, on November 20, that year, the Latvian National Library held the “world's largest school hour” award award and the final event of the project “Global Dimension of Social Sciences of Education”, in which Audriņu primary school received gratitude for active participation in international educational stock, as well as methodological materials that can be used in subsequent learning hours.
