On 14 February, THE PRE-school groups OF THE Audriņu primary school celebrated Valentine, a celebration of friendship and love.
In Valentine's event, the children were visited by fairy Valentin, who was playing a heart beat. The fairy children explained that the symbol of love was the heart and all the most beautiful, warmest and lover feelings and emotions we felt through our hearts. The feathers called on children to create a form of heart from small hearts. The children were happy to respond to the fairy call and formed a beautiful form of heart. The feathers also took care that children should not forget about the other festivals we celebrate, and we all remembered what more festivals were celebrating in the rest of the year. There was also no witty and hoarse puzzle, fun games and dancing dances.
On this day, the children gave each other smiles, good wishes, self-made gifts, greeting with hearts, and composed and sent Valentine's greeting cards to their group members, parents, friends, teachers, and even the school's kitchen staff.
In Valentine's week, an exhibition of children's creative works, entitled “gift to a friend”, was also organised. The work was designed specifically, with love, thinking of his closest friends.
We concluded a festive week with a nice message that we should be as helpful, friendly and kind to each other, not only on holidays, but also on a daily basis.
