Education

One of the project week days, Tuesday, April 21, Audriņu for primary school pupils began with a tour. We went to the Eastern Latvian creative service centre “Zeimuļs”. The children learned about the history of the center, studying each of the coloured floors of the “unusual” building. We even allowed you to go with the elevator!
Special enthusiasm for children was caused by the visit of the open terrace, from which our eyes opened to the great panorama of Rēzekne. The children were offered the opportunity to blow the coloured soap bubbles from that height.
We did not just walk and watch, but we also took part in the creative workshop - cutting, adhesive, drawing …
The “zeimuel” game area did not remain without our attention. The big wooden horse got up and sat with all the children.
But how much joy brought the children's cafe visit after a serious but yet creative working day! The delicious food was eaten with satisfaction, as many children visited the cafe for the first time in life.
Home children came to a positive emotion crowded!
Wednesday and Thursday also “ran away”. So much work and time are demanded by the book. Friday, the last day of the projects, gave children new pleasant surprises - we went to travel again. The parish library of Audriņu opened to us. Not only did the children of the Library Valentine, but also the hero of the fairy tale, Carlson. It was for him that the new authors presented their work.
The games, puzzles, were accompanied by children all day. At the end of the event, the children and Carlson enjoyed the cake. What can be a festival without knives? The project week for primary school pupils was very happy and creative.
We'll look forward to the next week of projects! We'll definitely not sit on the spot, let's go again, look at it.
