Education

Today's reality puts teachers and parents in complex demands – on the one hand, the child must be raised by confidence in the surrounding world, and on the other hand, the horrible accident statistics force all members of the community to be cautious, careful and vigilant. Therefore, THE Audriņu primary school continues a cycle of events that contributes to the development of a safe environment for pupils. Everything around our children must be a source of experience, not a distress.
In order to learn the basic principles of safe life, the small babies - primary school pupils, met with safety regulations in class hours, “Jimba Schools” activities, THE CSDD special-equipped class visits. On November 20, that year, representatives of the Latvian State Police Rēzekne District were visited at Audriņu primary school with the intention of expanding and strengthening the knowledge of pupils in security matters. The policemen offered to play new skills and strengthen existing ones.
Children watched a learning film about behavioural rules, meeting foreign people, road traffic regulations, safety on the Internet, home, school and other life situations.
A great surprise for our children was a colourful road traffic regulation game, which took almost all the floor of our act. The bone and the pieces were so enormous that the children held them with both hands. Unlike the table games, they could walk on the floor.
Pupils, teachers and policemen cooperated with the didactic security games. All children in the course of the lesson received sweet prizes – confectionery, but at the end of the lesson – prizes useful for safe life – retro-reflectors.
It was a great pleasure for teachers, teachers, that our students responded freely to the questions asked, actively participated in both a serious conversation and a loud tender.
Thank the representatives of the National Police of Rēzekne for their support to our school in the process of raising and educating children! They teach children not to fear “people in uniform” but trust them, ask for advice and protection.
