Acquisition of fabric printing techniques

Education

The Municipal Education Board of Rezekne organised a tender for the allocation of funding to supplement the material base for visual and visual plastic and applied art activities in 2018.
As the primary education programme of basic education is being implemented in the primary school, it was decided that in the framework of this programme we could learn cloth printing techniques. Consequently, there was a project “acquisition of fabric printing techniques”.
The printing is one of the most ancient fabric ornamental techniques. In many parts of the world, material prepared from the skin of a special tree, the so-called conspiracy, began to be printed long before he learned to eat.
There is no need to be a professional artist to create a painting or ornamental composition on the fabric - printing works for each.
If the old sofa of the old sofa drives the fierce, the bedside corners are shabby, or if there is only a desire to refresh the darkness of the room, you can do it yourself by printing the fabric and using it for the design of the rooms.
Fabric printing is a relatively new means of self-expression. In many schools this is a novelty, so students are very interested in learning this type of art.
Such activities contribute to creating and unlocking the will of children, helping to make practical use of knowledge acquired in other subjects, such as domestic and visual art.
As part of the project, students were given the opportunity to learn the skills of the fabric, they met and practically tried fabric printing techniques.
We buy the necessary inventory and materials: fabric, textile-coloured textiles, special contour paints, scissors, scissors. Various types of corrugated paper and cartons were used to obtain textures. Fascination and tape were required as cover materials. PVA glue, hot glue rods and paperboard were used to design the parcels.
For the time being, the first part of the project was implemented. During the week of the project, pupils met fabric-printing techniques, practically testing them. We finished the parcels and formed the wall decorator, which we used to design the stage for the graduates in the evening.
The implementation of the project will continue until the end of 2017/2018, where students will be able to develop their skills. We plan to create a decorum that will be able to be used in designing the medicine medicine for the centuries of Latvia, as well as each pupil will be able to create something of its own, individual and original, such as painting the T-shirts in the acquired techniques. Other derived products will also be able to be used in the design of school premises, in exhibitions.
Fabric printing is a very exciting process. It is recommended for each creative person to try it. The acquisition of these techniques is of interest to many, but it is a costly process with which only a small percentage of people can be employed. We are therefore particularly pleased that we were given the opportunity.
