The Austrian Federal Ministry for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs (FMEIA) announces the project competition “award for achievements in intercultural communication” (the “intercultural Achievement Award” (IAA)).
The Austrian Ministry of European, Integration and Foreign Affairs has put forward an intercultural dialogue as a priority. On the one hand, the intercultural dialogue helps to understand and understand the needs and challenges of a pluralist society. On the other hand, dialogue as a means must be taken and adapted and developed in such a way as to be in the public interest.
The Austrian Federal Ministry for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs (FMEIA) launches a project competition “award for achievements in intercultural communication” (“intercultural Achievement Award” (IAA)). The aim of the competition is to identify innovative and solutions-oriented projects that work with Intercultural Dialogue in Austria and globally. In order to participate in the competition, the organisation must operate in one of the following areas:

  • media and journalism;
  • education;
  • young people;
  • women;
  • migration.

In the framework of the competition, projects may be submitted in 4 different categories:

  • sustainability “good practice project”;
  • durability “best project within current issues”;
  • innovative “Innovative Intercultural Communication Project”;
  • media “best media contribution to promoting intercultural awareness”.

Deadline for project applications p.a. 18 May.
