Road manager will inform on daily maintenance work on motorways in Latgale
Thursday, August 9, at 11.00 Raitis Nešpors will inform Latgale regional authorities of the daily maintenance work on motorways in the summer season, as well AS Minister of Transport Uldis Augulis and Agriculture Minister Janis Duklavs.
The Minister FOR Transport AND the representatives of the municipality of Augulis will be informed about the development of the road network in Latgale region, including the planned repairs in 2018-2019. LATVIAN Agriculture Minister Duklavs will present the necessary road infrastructure for Latgale farmers. MR Neshpors, Chairman of THE BOARD of LAWS, will present the current daily maintenance work on motorways in the summer season. The state of gravel roads in the regions and the planned solutions to improve the situation will also be discussed.
The national road sections to which daily maintenance works will be carried out will then be surveyed. The motorway section v580 Rēzekne-Ciskade-Ruijing will be surveyed from 3 km to 11 km, which had been subjected to double surface treatment six years ago, on a road trip from 12 km to 16 km will carry out the shrub cutting for the road compartment belt and, in turn, a double surface treatment will be carried out between 16 km and 18 km. For the national road section v572 Murans-Mortišķi-Deneliai from 7 km to 8 km will be digested with a trailer grader. Transport will be provided to all the persons present.

THE LAU is carried out by almost 200 different daily maintenance works on national roads. The total length of the national road to be maintained is more than 20 000 km, of which 9 092 km of road are with black cover and 10 989 km are gravel motorways, as well as daily maintenance works are carried out on more than 900 bridges.
