St. Petersburg team won the basketball competition “Rēzekne District Cup 2018”

On December 1, the International Women's Basketball tournament was opened for amateur teams who took place IN THE multi-functional hall OF Maltas. Seven teams took part in the tournament, including home girls, the Moseņis team. The girls did not receive a prize at this time, but they struggled with dignity in the tournament until the end, and also gained great experience in fighting athletes who played basketball at professional level. As the best player in the home team, Ludborja was recognized, who conquered the sympathy of opponents and viewers with their speed, masterness and direct litter.
“North Legion” from St. Petersburg (Russia) was awarded the prize first place with a big break, and the girls were incredible in their masterness and strength. “Suitd” (Russia) won the silver medal, the “Velikie Luki” (Russia) bronze medal, there were teams such as “Kalupe” (Latvia), “Polocka” (Belarus), “Rezekne municipality” (Latvia) and “Kupishis” (Lithuania).

The tournament MVP prize was presented to Anastasia Fominai (North Legion).
