Children's Drawings Competition in Cantes

As part of the exhibition and the day of the art day, a drawing competition “My village beauty” was held AT THE Kantinieku sports and recreational centre. The aim of the competition was to actively involve the young generation so that children would pay more attention to the more beautiful nature of their village. Children up to 15 years of age participated in the competition. The competition was evaluated by the jury, setting three winners in three categories. First category - children under 7 years of age, second category - children aged 8 to 11, third category - children from 12 to 15 years of age. The children were actively involved in the open competition, but the most painted children were children under 7 years of age. While the jury appraised the drawings submitted, the children took part in the shooting gallery and the ball in the basket. In each age group, the three best were awarded with diplomas and awards.
In the category up to 7 years of age:
1 st place Louise Clusha
2 nd place Laura Deksne;
3 rd place Maxime Aqua.
In the category from 8 to 11 years of age:
1 st place Cynthia Onujan
2 nd place Christine Onujan
3 rd place Beatrice Tutin.
In the category 12 to 15 years of age:
1 st place Kaspars Kuzncovs
2 nd place Ksenija Golovneva;
3 rd place Svetlana Shilova.
The promotion awards were given to Ritvars Kubeckim, Sonarai Tutin, Nicolai Jurcevai. After awarding, the small artists were able to cope with biscuits and juice. In conclusion, the children showed their drawing skills with chalks on the asphalt.
