The children of the municipality of Rezekne have been covered by sports games of the municipality of Rezekne

On 25 July, Berzgale was joined by the most athletic local authorities of Rezekne and the staff of the institutions to match the annual sports games. Teams from 14 parishes, as well as representatives of the Administration and Social Service of Rezekne, took part in the competition this year. The organisers of the competition – Bērzgales parish board – had prepared ten tasks in which more than speed and excitement were tested by participants' imagination and realization, for example, in discipline “Tropeigocais Emetiejs” basketball bomb had to be thrown into a basket with boxing gloves in the hands, while “Ruchini bolus” had to catch a ball, holding a towel in the hands of two members of the team. The sports games had to be carried out by the team “Gribieju kai lobok, sanoca kai vines” and individual disciplines: women had to mix and repair the meat-milling machine, while the men in the discipline “Styprina” had to leave the log as far as possible.

After several hours of sporting activities, the winners were cleared – the 3 rd place won THE Vērēmu parish team, the 2 nd place ranked IN Stoļerovas parish team, while THE team won THE Kaunatas parish team. It should be noted that this year has changed the tradition that the next games take place in the victory of the winners – this time the organisers of the next sports games were lowered among the 11 parish who did not participate in the sports games, and the happy lobby was Nagļu parish, but before that – in the end of February – the local government and institution employees will be able to play in winter sports games Kaunatā.
