Bērzgales Cultural House for line dance group “shiks” – ten years

What's best for you to get out of everyday? A trip, a good movie, a night with friends? But maybe … dance? The dance is what allows us to instantly be aware of our feminine, our passion, our inner joy!
On the evening of 17 March, the 10-year-running anniversary was celebrated BY THE Bērzgales cultural house band “shiks”, bringing together friends, relatives and line-dance groups from other parish to the event “flower in and spring.”
10 years ago, a full-hall dancer came to the first line-dance. The line-dance footsteps were given by manager Anita Turlaya. It also started regular activities. With great enthusiasm, there was a new dance. At this time, there has been a change in the composition of dancers, but all dancers are creative and attractive women who, in spite of all the daily negations, are able to find common pleasure in the dance. They were very fascinated by the viewers.
Each dance is accompanied by an outfit, accessories. Support for the purchase of clothes is provided by the local government, but mostly they are delivered by the dancers themselves.
At the time of the operation, the group has been many times not only in their cultural house, but in the cultural houses of Rezekne. Dance friends would also be found in remote areas.
“Shiks”, thanks to the active, persistent and demanding leader Anita Turlaya, has tried the forces in the liner-dancer Olympics “Riga Cup” and the Latvian Cantri Vesterna dance association competitions, dancing both in the group and acting individually.
Active dance Olympics are visiting and benefiting from the dancing Veneranda and Elita.
In the anniversary, both the anniversaries and the guests would be in a joint liner dance. With friends, the spectators were enjoying the big anniversary.
The collective is open and invites new members in their pool.
