Free consultation and preparation OF ALTUM project applications for rural entrepreneurs

The emerging and existing entrepreneurs of rural regions, as well as young farmers, may use the Latvian Rural Consultation and Education Centre (LLCC) to receive free advice and training funding in THE State aid programmes implemented by THE Latvian Development Finance Institution Altum (former mortgage and land bank). Free consultations are available to entrepreneurs' projects that are implemented in all regions and parishes of Latvia, as well as in cities with a population of up to 5000.
THE LLCC specialists shall advise on the available forms of State aid, the State aid programmes offered TO ALTUM and the conditions thereof, as well as help prepare the application, business plans and other documents for the receipt of a State-supported loan.
The agreement on the extension of cooperation in the implementation of State aid programmes was already signed in April of that year BY Chairman of THE Board of ALTUM Rolands Paņko and Martins Cimermanis, Chairman of THE BOARD OF LLCC. Cooperation is designed to promote economic activity in rural areas and to improve the opportunities for rural communities to receive state aid funding.
ALTUM Board Chairman Roland Paņko: The cooperation BETWEEN ALTUM and the Latvian Centre for Rural Consultation and Education is a good example of coordinated action in the field of State aid. ALTUM has State aid funding for various business needs, LLCC has experience and expertise, consulting entrepreneurs on project and document preparation. With this cooperation, we hope to complement each other's advisory activity, thus improving access to finance for small and medium-sized enterprises in rural areas and the efficiency of state aid business. "
Mr Martins Cimermanis, Chairman of THE LLCC Board: “I am pleased with the concluded cooperation agreement with ALTUM, which is a national financial institution, and, in our view, will be one of the main points of support for small and medium-sized business development in cooperation with THE LLC and the Ministry of Agriculture. Such cooperation is necessary because, for the third year, we are implementing a rural economy promotion programme, which has helped to pin up and develop more than 700 small businesses across Latvia. Enhanced cooperation with ALTUM will improve the opportunities for rural people to implement their business ideas."
The free LLCC advice is intended for young businesses, those who want to start business in rural areas, young farmers up to 40 years of age who are planning to start agricultural production, as well as entrepreneurs who have not previously received European Union funding for investments. Free consultations and training are provided in the framework of the activities financed by the Ministry of Agriculture in the framework of “rural territory economic promotion programme”.
Altum programme free consultation and application preparation: garden street 7a, Rezekne, LV-4601, tel.: 64625255 (Inara Smirnova, Gunārs Indrichans).
It is recalled that LLCC is a leading rural development consultant in Latvia who advises rural residents both on the possibilities of receiving national and EU support and providing services in accounting, economics, crop farming, livestock farming and forestry.
In Rezekne municipality, field development consultants operate in all parishes where the population is accepted at certain times of consultation.
