Exchange of biblical experience

On 16 October, the librarian of the city of Rezekne and the municipality went through an exchange of experience to the valley (Estonia), the valf and the Gulbeni. The purpose of the journey is to get acquainted with the work of colleagues, exchange experience, get new ideas. The participants visited not only the libraries but were familiar with the work of THE ESIP and THE EDIC points in these cities.
As the first our group visited the city library of Valga, where the library director was waiting for us. She told him about the galvane activities of Estonian libraries, the state-implemented policy in this area, the reading promotion projects and the services provided by the library. We went further to Europe Direct Valgamaa, who was informed of a number of projects, including cross-border projects in Latvia.
It was in Estonia that we were in Latvia after a short time, where we were waiting for a meeting with Valka City Library. Welcome to the Library's Children's Division, where THE ESIP coordinator MR Gendryuk had prepared a presentation on activities and activities for children and school young people who are familiar with the values and developments of the European Union, outlining visions of the future. Our group also had the opportunity to show their knowledge of the European Union and to answer various questions. The most active and most knowledgeable were also at small gifts.
In the afternoon we arrived in the Gulbene District Library, where the Library Director A. Sprudzāne called for a conversation about the work events of libraries in their city and municipality, discussing the participation of the library in various projects, attracting active volunteers to the activities of the library and activities. We walked through the light and contemporary library rooms, getting acquainted with the work of its departments and the responsive workshops that were willing to respond to our questions, sharing experience. The library also contains the Europe Direct Information Centre in Gulbene, with which we also had the opportunity to meet.
