Extended period of application for Latgale annual award

The association “asma Latgalites” has extended the time to apply for the award-established Latgale annual award. Applicants in one of the seven nominations can be submitted by 24 October: the best farmer of Latgale year -- their landlord, Latgale's most active youth, Latgale annual family, Latgale year hero, Latgale annual businessman - about the contribution of the economic growth of the region, the most active Senior of Latgale and Latgale's heart man (a man who inspires others with his work and example).
The aim of the prize is to promote sustainable development, promote economic growth and increase the prosperity of Latgale people, emphasise the positive, combine Latgale population, as well as promote their activities in the future. The people of Latgale region, companies and organisations registered in Latgale can be eligible for the award. The application must be submitted electronically by e-asmulatgalits@gmail.com, or by post, to the address “asma Latgalites”, at the landfill street, 28-1, in Daugavpils, LV-5413, with the indication “the applicant's application for competition“ Latgales annual award ”shall include information on the award of the prize, the description of the initiative, the success and the result, as well as at least one review.
The place and time of the annual award ceremony will be clarified, possibly as Aglona, the leader of the association Gunita vanaga.
The movement “asma Latgalite” was founded in January 2014 as a website on Facebook, but later in April, it was registered in the company register. The association has so far held various events in Daugavpils.
