The “Silmalians” association implemented a costume purchase project

Between 29 May 2017 and 31 October 2017, the “Silmalieši” association implemented THE EAFRD project “Purchase of diverse suits for silicon creative growth”, contract No 17-01-AL15-a019 .2202-000020.
Silmalas parish residents are active participants in the cultural life of Rezekne. An oral survey of 48 self-acting collective participants and managers was performed to identify the project idea and they expressed their willingness to improve their stage image. The creative life of silhouettes involves participation in a variety of directions of self-activity (singing, dancing, theatre art and the game of various musical instruments). Unfortunately, by participating in competitions and various public events, there was a lack of suitable and bright clothes for collective participants. The “melody” of the women's vocabulary, the children's dance collector “colibri” and the musical instrumental ensemble “fantasy” were not each of their own unique, visual image. The 15 participants of the “Silmalas mask” of the youth amateur amateur also play an important role in the development of cultural events for children of Silmalas parish.
At the time of the implementation of the project, there was a set of stage suits for four Silmalas parish self-action collections: the women's vocabulary “melody” (9 participants) - a set of 27 costume units; a child dance collector “colibri” (10 participants) - a set of 27 suits; children's musical instrument ensemble “fantasy” (10 participants) - a set of 30 goat units, as well as a youth amateur “Silmalas mask” - set of 4 suits units.
As a result of the project's implementation, the project aims to promote the development and promotion of Silmalas parish cultural life among the rural population of parish and Rezekne, supporting public initiatives and opportunities, promoting development for the four creative collectors of Silmalas parish, by purchasing a set of stage suits. The project was implemented in collaboration with THE Silmalas cultural house.
The acquisition of stage clothes will improve the aesthetic image of our self-activity and will have a positive impact on the emotional mood of participants. Solemn and unified stage clothing will allow them to be more confident, give momentum to new ideas and achievements to achieve higher steps in their creative growth.
The total amount of the project is EUR 3995,00, including EAFRD financing-3595,50 EUR (90%), Silmalas parish government financing-EUR 399.50 (10%).
