Business and career opportunities festival

If you want to change your life, search for new discoveries and knowledge, or think how to spend a day in good quality, come back on 10 and 11 May to Daugavpils Olympic Centre, where the business and career festival “business days in Latgale 2019” will take place.
Annual business days are a traditional and expected event, as they will be gathered together by both entrepreneurs of the region and representatives of the municipality, educational institutions, pupils, as well as citizens with the aim of gaining information on the latest developments that are often impossible to find out on a day-to-day basis. Visitors will be able to learn about vacancies and the most requested professions in enterprises as well as their learning opportunities. It will be an opportunity for entrepreneurs, at the same time, to address both the jobseekers of this time and the students and students who are interested in learning about the professional knowledge and skills they will be expected to expect in the future.
The organisers of the event, the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LTRK) and the city of Daugavpils, have taken care that this year is a particularly interesting content for visitors and participants.
Festival days by topic and audiences will be divided into two parts, where the first day will be devoted to more business, pupils and jobseekers, career opportunities. On the other hand, the second day will focus more on the broad interest of visitors, offering various cultural activities, fashion views, entertainment, shows.
On May 10, the opening of the event with LTRK and Daugavpils City Council's management performance will take place. This will be followed by a business forum where “innovation = a successful modern business” will be a superstem. In parallel, the event for young people with the theme “how to be a successful young man in the modern labour market”, “tea with entrepreneurs” and “knowledge marathon” will be addressed.
On May 11, on the second day of the festival, the cultural and entertainment programme will take part in the cultural collections of Daugavpils City and Latgale region, a collection of fashion and clothing collections, the decoration of creative confectionery masters, creative workshops for children and demonstration of the latest techniques.
The festival will show an exhibition of educational institutions and pupils' training companies, domestic producers and amateur fairs with particularly attractive discounts for visitors to the exhibition.
