Exhibition “clay, fire and natural miracles” of the Rēzekne municipality in Brussels

From 16 to 30 April in Brussels, the Committee of the Regions will be able to look at the exhibition “miracles of clay, fire and nature”, in which three types of art – the Ushpeu family ceramics, the storms Ushmouse paintings and the photographs of the photoclub “artery” — are gathered together, which together will encourage visitors to understand the life and work of the podiers in Rezekne's municipality and Latgale. The Latvian delegation and the Committee of the Regions organise an exhibition with a view to presenting the European Union Presidency – Latvia – culture and traditions more widely.

The opening of the exhibition will take place on 16 April in pl. 20.00, at the time of the plenary session of the Committee of the Regions, the one-off magnificence and attractiveness of Latgale clay will be able to assess both the 350 regional committee members from all 28 Member States of the European Union, several Members of the European Parliament, and the permanent representatives of several countries in the European Union, as well as around 20 journalists from various regions of Latvia who were invited to reflect the plenary session of the Committee of the Regions and the activities of the Latvian delegation within its framework.

Andris Jaunsleinis and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Latvia to the European Union Ilze Juhansone, head of the Committee of the Regions, are present at the opening event.
