Dagda Municipality in Ozolmuiža

Children and young people from the municipality of Dagda are visited by Children and young people from the municipality of Dagda. This event was planned for a good time and expected to be “Shaunas” and “Ozolmuižas” for children and young people. One of the main objectives was to familiarise visitors with THE parish OF Ozolmuižas and what significant places and people are in our parish, as well as the closest surroundings. A nice and knowledgeable excursion was planned to ensure this.
As one of the main points of view that led to special interest, there was an outdoor trainer, a human child park, or a Boņuka trail and an Anchupan view tower. Every one of us felt a real surprise by going to the organic farm 'home' where special domestic animals were grown, with very long bristles. The hostile landlords filled with self-made, delicious fat, cheese and warm tea. At the end of the excursion, we also visited the animal shelter located in Rēzekne to know how the cats and dogs left without the owners lived. The last stop was Ozolmuižas for children and young people, where everyone had the opportunity to participate in soap boiling and the mastery of bird cages.
Visitors were genuinely surprised at the diversity of leisure opportunities offered BY Ozolmuižas children and young people. We have a real pleasure in taking visitors from another municipality that is not so often, and joy that we can be useful for both the exchange of experience and the inspiration of new ideas!
