Most of us have experienced a moment when Momma tells her evening story, or simply reads a story from the book. This moment is like a little miracle that takes the listener into another reality, making it possible to take a different look. The story is the source of the wisdom of life, the basic values and the knowledge. Every word teaches something.

A good tradition in the second semester of each school year for pupils from Classes 1 to 9 has developed during the second semester of each school year. For many years, the children were preparing poems for the competition, but this year the honest place in the competition was reserved for the world, and specifically for the Latvian People's Party.

Ten participants came forward this year, which took place on 20 January. They had to tell their chosen story expressionately and emotionally. The 2 nd class student, Renata Anufrijeva, had chosen to say “rausis”, Uldis Juļs (2 nd club) said “how the pigeon learned the nest”, while Marcus Kapacis (2 nd club) was delighted by the listeners with a fairy tale “pupa, straw and charcoal”. The three participants were also from the 4 th grade – Egita Melne, with a fairy tale of “greedy bride”, Artfield Jershaw with a fairy tale “cocktail and fowler” and Renars Ričevsky with a fairy tale “oak and Beck”. The 5 th-class student Elgar Razgalis spoke “as a man thought”, Arnolds Anufrijevs (Clause 5) – “Wolf and ram”, while Marika valda Uļjanova (5 th cl.) – “cancer and fox”. Valerie McEyeva took part in the competition from the 6 th class, telling Anna Sachs “cherry.” It must be said that the pupils had chosen not its shorter and lighter fairy tales. Everyone tried to speak so that the listeners would be interested in listening. Of_course, there was no excitement, maybe there was something about theatrical, but in general, the children were Malachi, talking loudly, with good dictions, not forgetting the text.

The members of the jury Commission – the Latvian language and literature teacher League Higher, the primary school teacher Vanda Kalebei and the leader of the cultural house Leocadia Razgalei – were really hard to assess which Fair Places were to be awarded. At the end, however, the jury agreed that the 1 st place was awarded to Valerie MAEYEVA, 2 nd place for Artfield SIERSHAW, and the 3 rd place was divided by Egita BLACK and Elgar RAZGALIS. The winners of the titles were awarded with GRATITUDE and sweet sweets. All the other participants in the competition also received gratitude for their participation and candy from the big basket, which was dedicated to teacher Janina Bikovskaya. The viewer's sympathy prize was presented to Valerie Makeyeva.

Sincere thanks to all the participants and organisers for the wonderful moment we spent in the world!
