Dance collector Jumalo – 15 wealthy years

On Saturday, 26 January AT Dricānu, the middle-generation dance collective “Jumalo” celebrated his 15-year-anniversary with the concert “another bomb...”
The concert joined friends' collective from stubs, Stabs, Galenes, Lendžiem, cardiers, Lūznavas. Local singers and youth dance collective “Jumalēni” dancers also gave their performances
It seems that 15 years have passed very quickly. The collective has been united over the years not only by friendship and dance, but also by common traditions which have changed and complemented over the years.
The leader of the collective is Sylvia Bookt for 15 years. She is rich in experience, with high goals, with strict and demanding attitudes to dance and day-to-day work.
The event was an emotion rich and memorable. The dancers felt very much that day, like pearls, as everybody had on their birthday. Smiles, happy faces, and love for dance gleamed in the eyes of each dancer. Everyone, as one says: dance – is a way of life and a joy.
At the end of the concert, in the name of the municipality of Rezekne, the head of the cultural division of the municipality of Rezekne, Inara Pleikšne, was appointed by the municipality of Rēzekne. She gave a thank-you article for a long-standing, fair and creative contribution to the work of the dance collective “Jumalo”, the preservation of songs and dance festivals and the creation of a cultural environment.
The dancers thank the crowd and the supporters of the event, the spectators for their mixed moments.
