In the morning of 25 March, IN THE morning OF THE Dricānu high school pupils - students and teachers, the local population gathered on the memorial event of the communist genocide in the former People's House in front of the victims of the memorial stone of all occupations. There was songs, history testimony, and prayer.
Two Latvian people have fatal dates - June 14 and March 25. It's a history, it's the facts, it's an emotion sea. I don't have to be ashamed of tears when we get the memory of them. These are the humiliated pain. Only speaking from heart to heart can we hope for mutual understanding between generations and peoples. Since 25 March, 70 years have passed for deportations. At this time, new people were born and grew up in Latvia, who were brave enough to win the independence of Latvia again, and who are strong enough to be prepared to protect it. When we mention the expedition, we must remember again and again about the work of the work, the concern for our land and the country, the willingness to be creative and face the difficulties, the responsibility for the result of our work.
