A pensioner meeting took place in the Alexandrian Cultural House

On the afternoon of 25 October, THE Dricānu in the cultural house gathered parish seniori at the annual traditional meeting.
All the attendants were surprised by the notion of “young pensioners”. They were active in both school events, training and Olympics and today. Two families have successfully formed among the members of the class. Children are raised and educated, grandchildren are spoiled. By the end of the active work, some of Riga, Ventspils, Rezekne moved to their homes IN Dricānu parish.
Of course, a faithful pensioner's party had annual visitors - those over 80! They met, talked about pensions, health, government and other topical developments while “young pensioners” jumped into polka!
Musical performances were provided and dance music was played by local chapel representatives Andris Eriņš and Alexander Kindzulis. Ralph Bokta and Arnita Mazure sang. Laughter to tears was caused by the sketches of the self-acting theatre “Siebrineicys” Gale and Mares.
Seniors spoke to the parish manager Diana Saxon, as well as told about what works were being done in the parish.
Having enjoyed the joy of being together, he said to meet again at the next party.
