In the almanac of poetry “Rezekne” - also the works of foreign authors

On September 14, the festival of the “poetry almanac Rezekne 2018” was held in the municipality of Rezekne. This year, the almanac comes out for the 21 st time and includes 81 works of the author.
When speaking to the participants of the event, the poet Livija Liepdruviete congratulated everyone on the festival, as the poets whose works were published in the ecr, the outcome of the almanac is a big event. The event participants with musical greetings were welcomed by J.Ivanova Rēzekne music secondary school student Diana Campish (concert master Romualda David).
The long-standing editor of the almanac, Olga Orsa (Afanasyeva), was glad that the traditions of the poetry were still being observed: 'i went to Ryan Park a few days ago, at Ryan's monument, and very much satisfaction that the monument of our great poet is flowers. That means that students come to a monument, they read poetry.
This year is our country's centuries and what we, poets, can give to our Latvia! We give it a poetry and a devoted almanac to a state anniversary. '
Traditionally, poets, who first publish their works in the almanac, have been mentioned in eternity for the first time. Olga Orsa was delighted that the authors' lines were moving from Germany and Britain, who had risen from Latgale.
The outcome of the poetry stock has traditionally been financially supported by the Rēzekne municipality council, the city council of Rezekne and A/S “Rēzekne bus parks”. As usual, the almanac was received by authors, guests of the event, as Rēzekne municipality and city libraries.
