The events of the European Heritage Days will be held in Latvia from September 12 to September 15. In 2019, the theme of European Heritage Days - “restoration”. This topic is selected to focus more on the challenges of the development of the restoration industry and the development of the profession, in order to look at the achievements of the restoration industry since the restoration of the independence of Latvia.
On 13 September, the European Cultural Heritage Days will take place in the Roman Catholic Church of the Red Virgin Marie. But the fact that God is listening to people here is true. There is a lot of evidence about it. The Sunpainted voices, which are held as gratitude for healing.
In 2018, with the support of the National Cultural Heritage Administration and the municipality of Rezekne, the painting was restored

The painting, the restoration will be told by the restorers. The painting has undergone a perfect technical research, which revealed that it was much older than it had been. Visitors will be given the opportunity to hear a nice young Marie songs in the performance of Rēzekne's leading vocal studio “Skonai”, as well as a lunch meal in the ancient area of the free church.
Historian Gustav Manteifel has said that the first church in Sarkau was from wood, built 17 th. In the present day, the Church of the Red Cultural War was built between 1830 and 1860 on the donations of Anton Latkovsky and parish members. In early 2018, with the support of THE EU EAFRD programme, the municipality of Rezekne and individual donors, the church's internal premises were restored.
Church services at church are held on Sundays at noon 12.00. In October on Saturdays at 18.00 Hotels on families and unborn children and night Adorations occur.
