Projects financed BY THE EAFRD IN parish Vērēmu

In this year, the Agricultural Support Service (LAD) East Latgale Regional Agricultural Administration has supported two Vērēmu parish management projects submitted to the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development in the framework of the rural development programme “Rural economy diversification and the promotion of quality of life in the implementation area of local development strategies”.
The implementation of project No. 13-01-LL23-l413201-000039 as a result of the implementation of the “heat supply in Vērēmu People's House”, due to the professionalism and conscientious work of the utilities of the utility farm, was replaced by radiators, a boiler boiler installed and a long waiting warmth entered the premises of the People's House. In particular, Jura Chachi's knowledge and skill hands had to be thanked. Self-acting collective and parish residents will be able to celebrate Latvian birthday at the premises of the warm and cosy Vērēmu People's House. The eligible costs of the project are eur 8573.20, of which eur 7715,87 is EU funding and EUR 857,33 eur Vērēmu parish government co-financing.
In October, the planned works of project No 14-01-LL23-l413101-000003 “Establishment of a pensioner day centre Sondori” were launched. The aim of the project is to create a daily centre FOR Vērēmu parish seniors, providing the opportunity to enrich social life by engaging in activities according to the state of health and physical abilities. At the centre of the day, every pensioner living in Vērēmu parish will be able to engage in the promotion of cultural, healthy lifestyles, social issues. In order to achieve the objective pursued, the following activities were carried out and planned: 1) a self-government-owned non-rented apartment IN J. Zvīdra iela 32-5, Sondoros, with a total area of 34,05 kvm, which has already been replaced by windows, plumbing, furnished furnace - stove; 2) a simplified reconstruction and renovation documentation of the object has been developed; (3) a price comparison has been made for the purchase of construction materials and furniture; (4) a price comparison is made for the purchase of construction materials and furniture; (5) for the funds allocated to the project, construction materials are planned to be purchased for ceiling, wall, floor, wiring repair, replace doors and purchase furniture - corner couch, 4 sown bags (puffs), kitchen dinner table with six chairs, 4-seat bags (puffs), kitchen lunch table with six chairs, a magazine table, a wall shelf, two wall cabinets, and a hall facility. Repairs will be carried out on parish management by attracting the seniors themselves and the volunteering of the population. The eligible costs of the project are eur 3053.79, of which eur 2748,41 are EU funding and EUR 305.38 eur Vērēmu parish co-financing. Implementation of the project should be carried out by 1 July 2015
