“Eruditis 2018” – Kaunatas secondary school team

On 23 April, a four-game cycle of the competition “eruditis 2018” was concluded. This year, Rezekne and Viļānu, the school teams, sought answers to questions about Latvian anniversary festivals.
Ten teams participated in the competition – one team from Kaunatas, Viļānu, Dricānu, Tiskad, Eastern Latgale technology and L. Ranāne McAsian positions in secondary schools, as well as two from Maltas and Nautrēnu secondary schools.
Latvia's hundreds of years, also the subject of the competition – “Latvian anniversary festival”. During the four games, the participants of “erudite” responded to questions about festive celebrations, ancient Latvian lifestyles and world perceptions, about beliefs, mentioning dough. The pupils had to know, for example, that the pearls had to be burned in the last year; that the rash in James had extraordinary powers and healing qualities and that they could get beauty in it; that the nasty is a turbulence known as “kuodale” in Latgale; that the Meters are also called the pier of the pies; that Christmas is a new shirt for Christmas; that the “tunnel disappeared”, “half-cracks”, and the “broom” are the food; that, on Christmas night, the horses were running three times around the house to do their teeth and much more.
In a total of 85 points, the 1 st place was won BY a Kaunatas secondary school team (Liana Zelina, Justina Kablanova, Dina Kudravska, toni Angelo Fernandes, Lena Shlapakov, Erika's profits). At 2 nd place, THE 1 st team of THE Nautrēnu secondary school ranked with 68 points, while the 3 rd place was acquired BY THE Viļānu secondary school team “patrioti” (67 points).
In gratitude for participation in Rezekne municipality, the local government educational administration for all teams of “eruditis” gave a trip to Lithuania at the beginning of June. On the other hand, the winners of the competition received an opportunity of 450 EUR to travel to their own destination.
