For the third year of the year, the Latvian Cultural Society (LKB), in cooperation with the Rēzekne Technology Academy (RTA) and the Latgale District Municipalities, honors Latgale's leading teachers in September, giving them a prize, which is also named in the name of an excellent teacher – Latgale first awakening employee, a permanent director of the Rēzekne teacher Institute, Monsignor Nicodema Ranana. This time the award ceremony was held on 24 September AT Viļānu in a cultural house.
“The teacher is the person who raised both the Prime Minister and the Employee and a brilliant basketball player who is proud of the whole of Latvia, which, together with the family, lays the foundations for the personality of the pupil. However, this teacher's work is still not properly assessed, so we also established this award,” – Livija Plavinska, Chairman of THE BOARD of GOVERNORS of LKB, emphasized the event. This year, a record number of applications were received – 30, indicating that there are many teachers in Latgale who deserve recognition for something that is expressed in the nominations of the prize, almost each of which is given two prizes – the big and small, which is the jury's special prize.
Candidates were evaluated by the jury -- LKB Chairman Livija Plavinska, Chairman of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport of the municipality of Rezekne, Guntis Rasims, head of the local government education, cultural and sports division Inta Kaļva, Deputy Chairman of Preilu District Council Maruta Plivda, Director of Ludza municipality, AND the Director of the Centre for Youth and Youth Eleonora Obrumane, HEAD of THE MUNICIPALITY of Eleonora Obrumane, Viļānu, and the head of the local government education and culture specialists, Maria Michelevič, head of the cultural and sports division of the Dagda municipality.

His own silver parcel was received Rezekne's high school teacher Rihards Cibliswho is the author of the prize for all three years. “I'm doing this rotation with a bright idea of all the good that is in the teacher's office, and i'm doing it with the signs of God, so that the silver brilliance is in your eyes and the blessing of God for your work,” – the prize was said by Rihards Ciblis. For many years he has been conducting a rotation study in Maltese High School, in which children of different nationalities are not only taught to rotate skills, but also Latvian - Latgalic life news. MR Ciblis is also the author of the textbook (issued in 2003). “I don't think there is another school in Latvia to train for rotating.” In these lessons, i receive all the Latgalian, because we don't have a Latgalian language in our school, ”– said one of Riharda Cibel's students before the event, Alexander.
Also in the next nomination – “the most successful young teacher Debbie” with the big prize was honoured by the representative of Rezekne municipality – Kaunatas Secondary School Homeland and Visual Art Teacher League Usulnia. His Kaunas High School works for a fourth year, teaches the technical schedule and raises the extended day group. She was awarded a prize by Jolanta Boris, a representative of the Latvian national centenary of the Ministry of Culture, emphasising that such excellent people, such as League, can be fully covered by the centenary of Latvia: “I am Latvia”.

Isajeva“It is a pleasure that a young teacher is not afraid to come to school.” The league is ambitious, knows what he wants to achieve, practical and at the same time creativity, her works at school festivals perfectly complement the artistic ideas of teacher Daces, creating a successful creative tandem. She is energetic, wants to learn everything, is not afraid of the challenges, ”– says her colleague, Kaunatas High School teacher Inara Paramonova.
The League is confused that he is not accustomed to talking about himself, praising his work, so the prize is really a great and pleasant surprise. Becoming a teacher has been a call when she studied at the Preiles of Preiles and the Latvian Art Academy Latgale branch. “The theme of my life is to love what you do and do what you love, and that has so far succeeded.”
Domestic and art is both a hobby and a family legacy, as the league's grandmother was a big handle. Now she says that the girls are less skilled, they have forgotten skills that they don't do in the family. The girls spend more with Mom at home with cookie, which is also wonderful. “The children need to teach those things that will be more useful in their lives than mysterious equations, and the household is one of the things that help to learn the skills of life.” The League emphasizes that children also need to teach their Latgalic identity so that he can understand where he is to love his Latgale and its language, so that the Kaunas High School will be given lessons for lessons this year.
The League is still working at the Catholic High School of Rezekne, also leading a dance collective in Riebinu District. All this can only be done with great energy and fire, but every difficulty makes it stronger. How does the Prison girl feel in Kaunas, on the shore of Razna? “Lovely!” At the first time i went to work, i always tried to sit on the side where Razna was. “That beauty, coming from Lake Razna, gives such energy to all day's work,” – smiles the league.

One of the most important nominations in this competition is “On contributions and achievements in the implementation and revitalisation of the Latvian language, cultural history and municipality training in school learning environments”, all the more so because the learning of this training is largely the case of teachers, school management and municipal initiatives and conscience. The big prize was received this time Rēzekne 5 th High School teacher Aelita Andrejevaco-author of the educational product “Gogrim pi Boņuka”, Special Prize – Rezekne State Polish Gymnasium teacher Ingona Zealandwho also wrote the painting book for children this year – a teaching tool for the history and modern history of Rezekne and Rezekne. Schoolteacher Stradina was one of the first to resume the small-circle movement in Latvia. She had been in Siberia, writing about that book, and now her efforts were a book about the sluggish.
The latgalic identity is, however, enriched in many Latgale schools, so that the following nominations were also made: The main school teacher Valentin Kaša, a teacher of the Ludza High School, Zoja Dembovsky, a teacher of the Ludza Museum of Music and Art, Dace Tihovska, a teacher of the Rēzekne High School, Silvija Laizane, head of the Nautrene High School, the head of the county research museum, Mārīte Zubko, Daugavpils 24 pre-school educational institutions (for a long time it was the only Latvian kindergarten in Daugavpils) teacher Genoveff Fedorkiva.

We don't need to be afraid, wait for the decision of the Ministry of Education and Science to teach the Latgalian language in schools. In the European Union, the Latin language is recognised as a endangered language. I also sometimes wondered why i needed it, but then i remember Franch Trassun's words,“ the power pit, the straightforward, myujab! ”and it is true that Latgale should speak latgalically,” – giving the prize to Anita Lochmelei, said passively.
