“GOSTI” was scattered by Sherganus

At the end of the international etno festival “GOSTI”, a beautiful and emotionally wealthy concert was provided in the Sherjan cultural house during the last weekend.
The first on stage was the “harmony” of the Russians of the Russian National Society of Rezekne (leader Olga Gaile). The crowd was fascinated by his lovely, affectionate and humor-filled songs, and his very gorgeous suits.
The following spoke: “Suzorje” of the Belarusian national cultural association “Suzorje” (manager Ludmila Pikaikova). The national colorite permeated all the performances, causing the viewers to live and feel the enormous energy coming from Suzorje.
With interesting songs in which the Latvian mentality, exhaustiveness and dreadfulness were enthusiastic, the Sidrabrasa (Head of the Sidrabrasa) of the Cultural House of Saint-Gans (manager Lāsma Inkina) was pleased.
The speeches of the young folklore chapel of the city of Utena (Lithuania) (Dalia Magyliene) were very touching and gambling. We heard both the Lithuanian folk songs in Capella's performance, and the beautiful valley violets, the spirits and drums, and we could learn Lithuanian toddles when the chapel members invited the audience to a joint dance.
We expected the concert program to be complemented by soliste Jekaterina Slezkina from Dmitrova (Russia), but she did not appear for justifiable reasons.
At the end of the concert, flowers and small memorials were given to all the guests, the souvenirs that reminded them of the sincere pause in Sherjans.
Massive thanks to all the collective and their leaders for their participation in the concert, thanks to the head of the cultural division of Rezekne, Ināra Piebalšne, Director of the National Society of Rezekne, Svetlanai Semeņakai and Stružānu parish administration for mutual co-operation in organising events.
