Griškānu civil parish projects and “Razna National Park Society” projects are implemented in parish

In order to promote the involvement of young people in spending time and sporting activities, improving physical preparedness and health, a youth inventory project for the purchase of InLine hockey equipment was implemented IN Griškānu parish. Four pair of InLine hockey equipment, producer BAUER skating skates, and three hockey clubs were purchased.

In parallel with the inventory project, an application was submitted for a project competition announced by the Razna National Park Society for funding up to 600 EUR for projects that will contribute to the recognition of parish association (Griškānu, Stoļerovas, Kaunatas, Čornajas, Mākoņkalna parish), the organisation of infrastructure, the introduction of modern technologies and the acquisition of inventory for the provision of various public activities. In assessing all submitted project applications, the Commission selected five projects that were eligible for the tender criteria, which also included Griškānu parish Griškānu youth centre “JOLO” project “InLine hockey and hockey inventory”. The project resulted in the acquisition of a full hockey player (together with two players) who would be able to use Griškānu parish young people and hockey enthusiasts IN Kaunatas parish association.

This is a significant step IN THE development of the parish sport OF Griškānu. Unambiguous, both projects will contribute to the attention of young people to InLine hockey and hockey activities. The Rēzekne District is an InLine hockey area who gathers the local enthusiasts of this sport, as well as guests from Riga, Olaine and adjacent municipality, each season (April to late autumn). This is another contribution to the development of this sport in Rēzekne municipality.
