AT Audriņu primary school, the school's self-administration is active in the early months of May to implement two stages of the youth initiative project “street sports games 2019 Audriņu in primary school”. At first, all the preparations were made: ordered medals, designs of diplomas, and started printing, purchased the necessary inventory for the implementation of the event. The first phase of sports games was held in June, where young people aged 7 to 18 years from all the parish of Rezekne municipality took part. Overall, at both stages, 117 participants from the various parish of Rezekne and the city of Rezekne took part in the event.
On street sports games 2019 Audriņu, the two stages were started with an active and fun gymnastics in a music accompaniment with all the participants. Throughout the day, the participants went through stations where they could check their skills and abilities in various sports and entertainment activities: street football and basketball, beach volleyball, florbol, “hit circle”, “fun hares”, “Boulings”, “hammer”, “'hit in the box”, “' the shooting ',' 'table tennis', '' 'novuss', 'Armrestlings'”, '' punishment metieni '', and fight for prizes with other parish peers in their age group.
In the second phase, in the second part of the day, the activities were supplemented. The participants, leaving all stations, were divided into teams who struggled with each other in carrying weight, roping, running, nesting a partner in a stretcher, and a variety of other kinds of fun relay.
All the results of individual and team disciplines were rewarded with all results. All the participants received both medals and diplomas or sweet prizes at both stages of street sports games as well as new friends.
With the help of street sports games organised BY Audriņu in school premises and in its territory, we want not only to demonstrate that sporting activities are interesting and exciting, but also to discourage parish young people from harmful habits (smoking, alcohol, drugs), to promote healthy lifestyles of children and young people, interest in sport, useful leisure after learning, intermediate moments, holidays and the summer period.
Thank all participants for their participation in sports activities, pupils' self-government representatives, teachers for assistance in organising and prosecuting the event, as well as the school administration for material support.
