Enable companies to sign up for quality signs

“Natural Product”, “Latvian Product” and “Quality product of Latvia” have been active in recent months. Companies are actively applying for the award of quality labels developed under the “Latvian brands” programme, thus characterising their products as natural, qualitative or with Latvian origin, giving the product additional value and indicating consumers on its benefits.

The quality sign “natural product” is designed to promote the consumption of natural products in Latvia, inform the public about the possibilities and the importance of using natural Latvian products that do not contain harmful substances and the production of it does not harm the body and nature.

“Latvian product” means a quality mark indicating two main features of a product or service – the place of origin (Latvia) and quality, while the quality sign “Quality product of Latvia” is designed to promote and highlight Latvian products in foreign markets.

In order to make it easier for companies to apply for these quality marks, a separate application form is set up for each of them.
