May receive co-financing of the municipality of Rezekne for preservation of cultural monuments (layer II)
Owners of cultural monuments registered in the territory of the municipality of Rezekne (possessors) are invited to submit applications to receive co-financing for the preservation, restoration, preservation or prevention of emergency situations of national protected cultural monuments.
In order to receive financing, by 10 June, by 12.00 electronically, by e-mail Inara.Pleiksne@rezeknesnovads.lv, by post or personally in the municipality of Rezekne (release alley 95A, 2 nd floor, box 17), an application shall be submitted, indicating information regarding the ownership of the cultural monument, characterisation, necessity of preservation of the cultural monument, works to be performed for improvement of the protection of the cultural monument, performers of works, expected results, total budget estimates, as well as the costs of each activity (work).
The submitted applications will be assessed according to a number of criteria, including: whether the object corresponds to the status of a cultural monument and is publicly available, whether the preservation of the authenticity of a cultural monument or the cultural and societal social integration activities of a cultural monument is promoted, or a cultural monument conservation plan has been developed, or the rescue works of a cultural monument are urgent and other criteria.
The first round of the competition for the award of co-financing for the preservation of cultural monuments took place in February and March of that year. As the head of the cultural division of the municipality of Rezekne, Inara Pleixšne, was told, five applications were supported in the first round: “co-financing for the repair of eagles will receive Nautrēnu of the most blessed Virgin of the Virgin Maria Catholic Church, the renovation of the bell towers will be carried out IN THE Catholic Church of THE Roman Catholic Church OF Rozentova, IN THE Roman Catholic Church of 1 TP44T, and Feimaņu in Saint John's Catholic Church, while Ozolaines parish for the Community prayer of the Roman Catholics will be awarded co-financing for the renovation and maintenance of the windows.” As a whole, the Rēzekne municipality has extremely many – 197 – national protected cultural monuments, it was decided to organise a second round of the competition so that the co-financing of the municipality could be involved in the preservation and restoration of more cultural historical sites.
