The new year brought an unexpected sadness of grief. On the day of the star, on January 6, at the age of 80, a long-term New Jerusalian primary school director, Rihards Ribkkins, was on his way.
Rihards Ribkinskis was born on 2 November 1937 IN Dricānu parish “Aizupies”. Rihards left without his father, and his mother, Riharda, and his older sister Rita's shoulders, lay down in the heavy post-war years of the family. Richards knew what the heavy rural works meant and the provision of minimal leisure to the family.
He studied at the Former School of Taunaga, then AT Dricānu High School. The Soviet Army has spent years in Latvia, Tukums.
He studied at the teachers' institute, obtaining the speciality of the primary school teacher, then, when he was working, graduated from university and obtained a diploma of physical education.
He started HIS work at Dricānu in high school as a physical teacher and a pioneer. From 1968 to 2006 (38 years), he was the director of the New Virgin School, in parallel with many years of physical education.
Riharda Ribkinsky's heart was an orientation sport. Since mid-60 s he was the main organiser of tourism competitions in Rezekne district, orientation sports coach, trash and card maker. At the age of fifteen years of the youngest school-year-old school-year-old school, the leaders of the youngest school were always struggling to win the prizes. His established tourism traditions remained AT Dricānu in high school and Jaunjjan at the eighteen-year-old school.

Richards Ribkins was a firm and demanding director, and in all cases he loved the aura and order, and because of these qualities he was so respected by colleagues and learners.
Very high Rihards Ribkins valued his family. With his wife, she raised her daughter and two sons, and her grandparents' hearts were delighted by three grandchildren, who, with their chalks, laughter and children's nonsense, filled in regularly in her mother-in-law.
Richards was always perceived as intelligent, warm, clever, with a deep sense of humor, an interesting companion. He could talk to him about any matter of life. Of course, the subject of a special conversation was and remained sporting. Rihards followed the events of this area in both television and press, always living with our hockey successes and failures in world championships, Olympics.
As a teacher, Richhards remained a farmer who was close to nature, rural life, rural works. After leaving, he was willing to work in the garden, cultivating strawberries, picking tomatoes in the greenhouse, delighted by the splendid flowering of tulips in the spring. But the most lovers were bees. He kept his bees and spoiled them as small children.
A rich and productive life. The soul went through the star path so that it would turn into a star and shine to us, the dead, the brilliant brilliant, always reminding that the path of early life should be guided by the guests of heart-wisdom, responsibility, trust and love. Rihards Ribkins has gone through his life and will remain in the memory of both his friends and former colleagues and learners as a man and a teacher with a big letter.
